Civil Engineering Sodium Bentonite for Dam Sealing and WaterproofingHermano Civil Engineering Sodium Bentonite is a natural, fine-powder sodium bentonite designed for seepage control, soil sealing and waterproofing applications.
When blended with suitable local soil and properly compacted, sodium bentonite absorbs water and swells to help form a dense, low-permeability barrier. It is a practical and cost-effective material for earthwork projects requiring improved water retention and seepage control.
Typical Applications Dam and embankment seepage control Reservoir, pond and canal sealing Soil mixing for compacted waterproofing layers Landfill and environmental containment projects Irrigation channel lining General civil engineering and geotechnical waterproofing

Technical Selection and Use The appropriate bentonite grade, mixing ratio, soil condition and compacted-layer thickness should be determined according to the project design, local soil characteristics and required permeability performance.
For dam and pond sealing projects, we can recommend a suitable grade after reviewing the local soil type, target application, required swelling capacity and project specifications.
Packaging and SupplyStandard packing is 25 kg bags. Bulk supply and customized packing can be arranged for container orders. TDS, COA, SDS/MSDS and samples are available upon request.
